About Kim

Kim Knight, MAcOM, Lac, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM) is licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners to practice acupuncture in the state of Oregon. She is also National Board Certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Kim has received additional training from some of the most renowned Acupuncturists:

  • Basic Balance Method, by Dr.Richard The-Fu Tan, O.M.D., L.Ac.
  • Global Balancing for Internal Disorders & Pain Management, by Dr.Richard The-Fu Tan, O.M.D., L.Ac.
  • Women's Health and Fertility, by Sharon Weisenbaum, L.Ac.

Kim has been working in the healthcare field for over 15 years, previously as a Home Birth Midwife in Montana. She graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine and Tuina, in 2008.

Kim keeps busy with her practice as well as working with students at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine as a teaching assistant. She is an active participant in life, volunteering much of her time to an international organizationdedicated to Great Works. She resides in North East Portland with her partner Geoff and their dog, Miss Pig.
